+   ENGAGEMENT REVIEWConcept

One moment. One focus.

Preparation before the encounter.

Review the evidence. Understand the context. Choose what to practice next.

Illustrative interface, not a working app screen. Shapes are explanatory, not actual gameplay, recommended positions, or measured results. Same-match review requires explicit Riot guidance.
Product review preview

HOONSU is not released or Riot-approved. This site separates the intended experience from current implementation and unresolved policy questions.

01 / The MVP focus

Two skills.
A clearer next action.

Understand the preparation and movement behind an engagement, without treating every death as a mistake.

Pre-aim

Prepare before
the opponent appears.

Review crosshair placement immediately before an opponent first becomes visible, against the product's defined recommendations and the available context.

Position evaluation stays separate from the first-burst headshot-kill result. No kill does not erase the position evaluation.

Braking

Understand movement
around your shots.

Connect movement, stopping, and firing using supported video, input, and game-event evidence. See what to change and why it matters in that situation.

Uncertain or missing evidence stays unassessed. It is never counted as a success or as zero mistakes.

Beyond the MVP: evasion, re-shooting, and an in-app Training Ground are planned for later phases. Practice guidance and next-match tracking remain part of the MVP.

02 / The planned user flow

A moment becomes
a practice loop.

These are visual explanations of planned screens and actions—not completed feature screenshots or evidence of improvement.

  1. 01

    Choose & connect

Understand personal coaching use separately from optional data contribution. Riot account linking through RSO is planned; Overwolf OIDC is a separate integration.

    RSO not implemented
  2. 02

    Capture the context

Connect the opted-in player's recorded perspective and available input and Overwolf game events. Analyze supported engagements, including those that do not end in death.

    Local development
  3. 03

    See the moment

Automatic review after death in the same match is intended to connect recorded evidence, visual analysis, and coaching, then close on return to active play.

    Riot guidance required
  4. 04

    Find a pattern

Review supported strengths and mistakes in a Match Report and private Player Profile. Use context, sample counts, and trends; one death cannot establish a lasting weakness.

    Planned product experience
  5. 05

    Practice with purpose

Personalized coaching selects a weekly improvement task and explains the next action. In-game success highlights, counters, and task-completion AI coaching credits require policy review.

    Feedback & rewards: review required
  6. 06

    Check what changes

Track the action in comparable future engagements and update the profile. Task completion and practice performance are separate from proven improvement in real matches.

    No outcome guarantees

03 / For Riot reviewers

The policy questions
are part of the design.

Same-match review is an intended core experience. Being dead or replaying only previously seen footage is not treated as permission for analytical coaching.

Official VALORANT developer policy ↗
Same-match automatic replay and visual coaching

May the user's recent perspective be replayed without analysis while they are dead in the same match? May measured annotations, recommended crosshair positions, and pre-aim or braking coaching accompany it? Which elements, if any, must wait until the match ends?

In-game task feedback and AI coaching credits

May weekly-task success be indicated through unobtrusive highlights and counters during gameplay? May task completion earn AI analysis/coaching service credits? We request explicit guidance on eligibility and display timing, including whether feedback must be deferred.

The plan allows users to earn credits regardless of subscription, while AI use is for subscribers. Credit amounts, expiration, pricing, and operating terms are unfinished; rewards are not currently available.

RSO, opt-in, and private profiles

Riot Sign On is planned subject to Riot production access and integration. It is not implemented, and Overwolf OIDC does not replace it. We request guidance on RSO and player opt-in for the local-video, game-event, and private-profile workflow.

04 / Development, stated plainly

What exists. What comes next.

Local implementation

Development foundations

Local capture, evidence review, and analysis prototypes are under development. Local code and fixture checks do not establish production measurement accuracy, a completed user journey, or release readiness.

Planned & incomplete

The connected experience

The full pre-aim/braking workflow, Report, Profile, personalized coaching, improvement tasks, and future-match tracking are product requirements. Their end-to-end implementation and real-player validation remain incomplete.

Approval not confirmed

External integrations

Riot registration submission and approval have not been confirmed. RSO is planned. Distribution through Overwolf is intended. Same-match coaching, task feedback, and credits require explicit policy guidance.

Evidence before conclusions. Computer vision, input, and event processing are intended to establish measurements. Generative AI explains supported findings; it is not a source of precise measurements or hidden game state. No accuracy, rank, win-rate, or improvement claims are made.

05 / Contact & player data

Clear information
before public use.

This informational site requires no account, upload, or download. The planned app's consent and data handling are separate from visiting this site.
